US Congressman Shows UFO V.S. Missile Video
Congress erupted in frustration Tuesday as Rep. Eric Burlison of Missouri played a never-before-seen video showing a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone firing a Hellfire missile at a mysterious orb off the coast of Yemen in October 2024—only for the object to continue flying, apparently unharmed. Burlison presented the footage during a House hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), highlighting not just the baffling resilience of the orb, but Congress’s deeper concern: why the government has blocked lawmakers and the public from accessing such information for so long.
At the hearing, Burlison emphasized that secrecy was a real issue. He accused government staff—rather than elected officials—of repeatedly obstructing efforts to get full briefings and access to official records on UFOs and UAPs. “We have a government that is actively blocking information from us,” Burlison said, warning that secrecy undermines public trust and impedes science.

Military whistleblowers and independent experts backed Burlison’s concerns, testifying that many more such encounters and videos could exist in classified archives, but access has been denied. UAP journalist George Knapp stressed how documents released under FOIA show a much different picture of government knowledge than what’s been shared publicly.
The congressman calls for transparency, with lawmakers considering legislation to protect whistleblowers and demand the declassification of UAP-related materials. Many believe without urgent reforms, Americans will continue to be kept in the dark about incidents that could impact science, technology, and national security.
